For writing, we wrote a poem about the Matariki stars. I chose the star, Ururangi, she is the star that represents the wind.

I really liked your poem for matariki because it was really
creative and beautiful . The thing that I really liked was that the stars represent the special nine stars in the sky at night , which are special to Maori. This reminds me of our learning about the Matariki Stars we did and the ones we made with cardboard and wool.
